Powdered Silkworm Food

This is the same food that we use for our silkworms to help promote optimal health and growth. This powdered food is made from mulberry leaves which is the only food source that silkworms will eat.

Cooking Instructions-

Mix 3 cups of hot water into 1/2lb of powdered silkworm food in a microwave-safe container.

Cover with plastic wrap or container lid, heat on high for 3 minutes in the microwave.

Remove from the microwave, use caution as food will be hot. Mix thoroughly with an electric mixer or hand mixer. Replace cover and heat on high for an additional 2 minutes.

Cover with lid and place in the refrigerator after it cools.

Food will be firm once it cools and is ready to feed to your silkworms.
